Dogwood Design Studio was born in Lethbridge Alberta but is now located in the West Kootenay region of British Columbia. We specialize in full service interior design for both Residential and Commercial applications with experience in many different sectors.
About Us
Alexis grew up in the mountains of Rossland BC and loves paddle boarding and cross country skiing as much as renovating a home. With a diploma in Interior Design Technology from Lethbridge College and NCIDQ certification, she has over 9 years of experience working in the Millwork industry, drafting, designing and estimating, along with years of commercial and residential design.
While Alexis handles most of the operations of DDS herself, there is the occasional project that needs some more technical input as well. For those jobs, as the master of codes and details, Matthew is called in to assist.
Matthew, who grew up in Medicine Hat AB, graduated from the CADD program at Medicine Hat College in 2005 and has over 20 years experience working for 2 Architecture firms where he managed projects of all sizes and kinds. Being an avid mountain biker the move to the mountains was one he has been anticipating for years.
Together, Matt and Alexis have 2 young children, 2 cats and a dog, they enjoy biking, hiking, skiing and visiting the nearby lakes.
